I am an Interior Designer, Canadian born and raised, I am also a wife + mom. House drama began just after my Husband and I were married, when we bought one of the original farm houses in a growing city downtown on Lake Ontario. The house was built in 1918 and of course it was foreclosed :) (I didn’t even know what that meant back then), dirt foor cellar the whole bit, but we jumped in head first, renovating, digging out a basement, adding a Family/ Dining Room with a Master Suite and En Suite above. Yes, we were young and naive but we turned a decent profit…remember location, location, location! Fast forward to 2000 when my husband was transferred to Georgia ✈where I learned Southern culture, Southern hospitality and Southern food🍗…yum . In 2006 we were transferred yet again, this time to Chicago✈ where I learned about classic architecture and began my Design career… landing a job at a high end Residential Design Firm and spent my days “shopping” for our clients at The Merchandise Mart….then in 2016 we landed in beautiful ❤ Boise, Airstream in tow, bought a house (yep, 4715) and we have never looked back. Working in the Custom Home Building industry in Boise has taught me so much more than interior design, construction and project managing has really widen my knowledge base. Wherever we have lived I have always seemed to find myself surrounded by incredibly talented and creative people, borrowing from them their design ideas and philosophy’s and ultimately creating my own. No matter where we live my design focus remains the same, it’s all about form + function, personal expression and building a space that is your home only better than you could have imagined….Modern, Classic, Comfortable.
